Smart Hospital Operations Platform
One platform. Every system. The whole building.
Yarward’s Smart Hospital Operations Platform maps out an entire building in 3D and connects everything inside it. HIS and PACS, down to ELV, electrical, water, heating, and energy consumption, all come together in one place, so managers can see and control the whole facility in real time instead of switching between separate systems. Because it is built around the building itself, it adapts easily to hospitals, clinics, and even construction sites.
The platform links front-line devices, such as smart air conditioning, lighting, power meters, fire alarms, and access control, through a multi-protocol IoT network that supports Modbus, OPC-UA, BACnet, and MQTT. Data from every system feeds into one dashboard, giving leaders a clear view for decisions, maintenance teams real-time alerts, and staff a simple service portal. The result is safer, more efficient, and more energy-saving operations all year round.
Features
One Platform, Every System
The platform connects HIS, PACS, and building systems such as ELV, electrical, water, and heating through standard protocols.
The Whole Building, in 3D
A 3D model of the building shows rooms, equipment, energy, and people on one map.
Every Utility, Monitored in Real Time
Power distribution, water supply, medical gas, elevators, air conditioning, and energy use are all monitored around the clock.
Single Dashboard for a Real-Time View of the Entire Facility
The dashboard brings the whole building together on one screen, with a campus map, live alarm monitoring, energy use statistics, and the status of every connected system. Leaders get a director’s cockpit for the overall picture and decision support, while operations teams use the large screen for joint command and fast response to incidents.
Staff can also use a simpler self-service view on smaller screens, so everyone sees the information they need, in the format that suits their role.
Medical Waste Tracking with Full Traceability from Collection to Disposal
The platform uses IoT technology to monitor medical waste through every stage, including classification, packaging, storage, transport, and treatment. Staff can follow the status of waste in real time, so nothing goes missing and every step is on record.
Collection vehicles are tracked by GPS to confirm they follow the designated route, and video footage from the storage area is kept for 24 hours for review.
CCTV Live Viewing for the Entire Building from One Screen
Live camera feeds from across the building can be viewed in one place, and each camera is mapped to its exact location on the 3D building view. When an alarm goes off, security staff can open the nearest camera and see what is happening at once. This makes it easier to monitor the whole facility, including wards, corridors, entrances, and car parks, without switching between separate systems.
Live Elevator Viewing with Instant Fault and Entrapment Alerts
Every elevator is displayed in the platform with its live status, including location, direction, and any faults. If a car stops between floors or someone is trapped, the system raises an alert straight away, so staff can respond quickly. Maintenance teams also get the data they need to plan servicing before breakdowns happen.
Real-Time Medical Gas Monitoring for Safer Patient Care
The platform continuously monitors medical gas systems, including supply pressure and flow, and shows their status on the 3D building view. Abnormal readings trigger instant alerts to the right team, so problems are caught and located before they affect patient care. Access to medical gas areas can also be monitored, which adds a further layer of safety.
